Your team has put in the work. You have a solid strategy and a system to stay on track. Then, the unexpected hits—a key team member leaves, funding falls through, or a policy shift threatens your program. How a nonprofit responds to detours determines its success. Learn how to turn challenges into opportunities when you realign with your purpose and adapt strategically.

Maria Bryan | Maria Bryan Creative

The landscape of nonprofit storytelling is undergoing a profound transformation, with organizations recognizing that how we tell stories is just as important as the stories themselves. This timely workshop addresses the need to move away from outdated practices that can inadvertently harm or exploit vulnerable communities while embracing emerging approaches that center dignity, agency, and well-being for storytellers, story owners, and audiences.

As nonprofits navigate an increasingly complex communications environment, understanding and implementing trauma-informed storytelling practices isn't just about ethics—it's about creating more effective, authentic narratives that resonate with audiences while honoring the communities we serve.

Logan Foote | GolfStatus

Golf tournaments are a powerful fundraising tool—but many nonprofits assume they require a big upfront investment to get started. The truth? You don’t need a hefty budget to launch a successful, lucrative golf fundraiser. This free webinar will break down how nonprofits can host a golf tournament with zero start-up funds, while maximizing revenue and donor engagement. Logan Foote, Sales and Education Director at GolfStatus, will share proven strategies for covering event costs through sponsorships, leveraging technology to streamline logistics, and unlocking creative revenue streams before, during, and after the tournament.

We all encounter ethical dilemmas in our daily work with and for community, but rarely do organizations focus on ethics related to volunteer engagement. This session provides an opportunity for practitioners to understand the difference between personal, organizational and professional ethics. The core values and principles identified by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA) will be shared. Participants will learn a process for ethical decision-making that can be applied in any situation, and then practice this using real-life scenarios related to volunteers. Finally, several specific strategies will be offered for increasing awareness of ethics within an organization and helping both volunteers and staff become more effective at handling ethical dilemmas.
