WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
What happens when a donor doesn’t respond to your meeting request? Whether your request is to take them to coffee, to offer a tour, or to request a gift — donor silence can be disheartening, but it's not the end of the road or the relationship. Join us for an workshop designed to equip fundraising professionals with strategies to navigate and engage with unresponsive donors effectively. We'll explore respectful and tactful ways to inquire again when initial meeting requests go unanswered, and effective ways to move forward with your individual fundraising program.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Frances Roen is a Georgia girl at heart, and has been graciously adopted by beautiful, snowy Minnesota. She is a forty-something daughter, friend, mom, wife, and entrepreneur, and is always on the look-out for a perfectly fried piece of chicken.
Frances is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) with nearly 20 years of experience fundraising and has raised over $200M for nonprofits. She has held fundraising positions at The Bakken Museum, Augustana Care Corporation, and YouthLink and consulted with dozens of nonprofits clients across the globe. In these roles she has been responsible for all aspects of fundraising including comprehensive campaigns, major and planned gifts, annual funds, events, communications, corporate partnerships and volunteers.
In 2019, Frances founded Fundraising Sol in an effort to help nonprofit professionals recover from the pervasive burnout and exhaustion that exists in the nonprofit sector, and reclaim (or learn for the first time) the power of healthy fundraising. Fundraising Sol provides interim development services, campaign counsel, and fundraising mentoring and strategy that promotes the wellness of individual, team, and service.
When Frances isn’t fundraising, she can be found running—very, very slowly—around one of the amazing lakes in the Twin Cities or planning her family’s next adventure.
